Nairobi Arrival

Arrive in Nairobi and meet your safari representative before transferring to your hotel. Settle in and enjoy some time to relax after your journey. In the evening, have dinner at the hotel before spending your first night in Kenya. This comfortable start gives you time to rest before beginning your road safari the following morning. After breakfast, you will leave Nairobi and travel toward the Rift Valley, where scenic landscapes and the first wildlife experience of your journey await.

Rift Valley, Into Nature

After breakfast, depart Nairobi and travel toward the Rift Valley, then continue to Lake Naivasha or Lake Elementaita. Arrive in time for lunch before heading to Hell’s Gate National Park for an afternoon visit. Explore the park on foot or by bicycle while experiencing its wildlife and dramatic surroundings. The day offers a different perspective of Kenya beyond traditional game drives, with opportunities to enjoy the landscape at a closer pace. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Mara Wildlife Arrival

After breakfast, check out and depart for the Masai Mara, travelling through Kenya’s scenic countryside. The drive takes approximately four hours before arriving at your lodge in time for lunch. After settling in, head out for an evening game drive in the Masai Mara National Reserve. Begin exploring the wildlife-rich landscapes with your safari guide as you search for animals across the reserve. Return to your lodge after the game drive for dinner and overnight, ready for two full days of safari exploration.

Continue your Masai Mara adventure with another full day of wildlife exploration. Choose between morning and afternoon game drives or a full-day safari with a picnic lunch, depending on the planned schedule. Continue travelling through the reserve with your safari guide while looking for wildlife across the open landscapes. This additional day provides more opportunities to experience the Mara at different times of day. Return to your lodge for dinner and your final overnight stay in the safari portion of the journey.

Safari Meets Sea

After breakfast, leave the Masai Mara and begin the journey back toward Nairobi, with a drive of approximately five hours. Arrive in Nairobi and transfer to the airport for your flight to Diani. Upon arrival at the coast, transfer to your beach resort and check in on an all-inclusive basis. After several days of safari, the pace changes to a relaxed coastal stay. Spend the remainder of the day enjoying your resort before dinner, drinks, and overnight by the Indian Ocean.

Enjoy a full day at leisure in Diani Beach and make the most of your resort facilities. Relax by the coast, enjoy the surroundings or spend the day at your own pace after the safari adventure. With no scheduled safari activities today, the day provides time to unwind and enjoy the coastal atmosphere. Return to your beach resort for another all-inclusive evening and overnight stay.

Coastal Leisure

Spend another relaxed day in Diani Beach with time to enjoy the facilities and atmosphere of your beach resort. After the wildlife-focused experiences of the earlier part of your journey, enjoy a slower pace on Kenya’s coast. Spend your final evening at the resort before preparing for your departure the following morning and your onward journey home.

Farewell Kenya

After breakfast, check out and transfer to Diani Airstrip in time for your flight to Nairobi. On arrival in Nairobi, remain in transit and connect with your outbound international flight back home. Your 8-night Kenya safari and beach journey comes to an end after combining Nairobi, the Rift Valley, Masai Mara and Diani Beach. The trip brings together wildlife viewing, a Hell’s Gate experience, scenic road journeys and a relaxing three-night coastal stay.
