In the evening, enjoy dinner at the hotel before spending your first night in Kenya. This comfortable beginning gives you time to rest and prepare for the safari adventure ahead, with your next day continuing in Nairobi before the journey toward Amboseli begins.

Nairobi Leisure

Enjoy a relaxed morning and continue exploring Nairobi at your own pace. The day is kept free within the itinerary, allowing you to rest or arrange optional activities in the city. Optional experiences include visiting the Giraffe Centre, Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, Nairobi National Museum and Snake Park, Karen Blixen Museum, or enjoying dinner at The Carnivore Restaurant. Return to your hotel after your chosen activities and prepare for the safari journey toward Amboseli the following day.

Amboseli Safari Day

After breakfast, depart Nairobi and travel toward Amboseli National Park. The journey takes around four hours before arriving at your lodge. After settling in, enjoy an afternoon game drive through the park and begin discovering its wildlife-rich landscapes. Amboseli is known for its open plains and striking views around the park. Continue your safari experience before returning to the lodge for dinner and overnight, ready for a full day of exploration the following day.

Spend a full day exploring Amboseli National Park with morning and afternoon game drives. Travel through the park’s open landscapes while looking for wildlife and enjoying the changing scenery. Return to Amboseli Sopa Lodge after your safari activities for dinner and another overnight stay, surrounded by the landscapes of southern Kenya.

After breakfast, depart Amboseli and travel toward Lake Elementaita, continuing through Kenya’s changing landscapes. The journey takes approximately five hours before arriving at your lodge. Spend the night at Lake Elementaita, preparing for the next stage of your journey toward the wildlife-rich Masai Mara.

Continue exploring with your safari guide before returning to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay in the Mara.
