Begin your journey from Yerevan towards the snowy slopes of Mount Aragats, where panoramic views and crisp mountain air set the tone for the day. Continue to the Arch of Charents for iconic views of Mount Ararat. Visit the classical Garni Pagan Temple, the only surviving Greco-Roman monument in the Caucasus, followed by the dramatic basalt formations of the Symphony of Stones in Garni Gorge. Conclude with the UNESCO-listed Geghard Monastery, partly carved into rock, before returning to Yerevan.

Ararat & Wine Trails

Travel south from Yerevan to Khor Virap Monastery, Armenia’s most famous viewpoint overlooking Mount Ararat and a key biblical landmark. Continue to the wine village of Areni for a guided wine tasting, then explore the Areni-1 Cave, home to the world’s oldest known winery. The day ends at Noravank Monastery, dramatically set within red-rock canyons, offering striking architecture and natural beauty before returning to Yerevan.

Lakes & Forest Monasteries

Depart Yerevan for the alpine beauty of Lake Sevan, one of the highest freshwater lakes in the world, and visit Sevanavank Monastery, perched above the blue waters. Continue to Dilijan, known as the “Little Switzerland of Armenia,” surrounded by dense forests. Explore the tranquil Haghartsin Monastery, hidden deep within Dilijan National Park, where nature and medieval architecture blend seamlessly. Return to Yerevan in the evening, concluding the journey.
